Delete your Convenux account

In the app

1. Open Convenux and go to You.
2. Tap Privacy, then Delete account, and confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away. If you want a copy first, tap Download my data on the same screen.

Without the app

Email hello@convenux.com with the subject “Delete my account”, from the email address of your Convenux account (the one Apple, Google, Facebook or Discord gave us when you signed in). We confirm by email and delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner. If we cannot tell which account is yours, we will ask you to show that it is.

What is deleted

• Your account, name, email address and profile.
• The conventions you saved or attend, your plan, follows, blocks, saved searches and settings.
• Every photo you posted, removed from storage at once, with its likes and comments, and every comment and like you left on other people’s photos.
• The meetups you host are cancelled, and the people who joined them are told.
• Your push notification tokens and your notification history.

What is kept

• Usage statistics already recorded stay, no longer linked to you, until they are deleted after 90 days.
• Reports other people made about your content, and the record of any ban on your account.
• Corrections you made to the public convention database, which stay as part of the listings without your name.
• Copies in our encrypted backups, until those backups are overwritten.
