A photo shows me and I want it gone

In the app, open the photo, tap the menu, choose Report and then That’s me — take it down. It disappears for everyone at once, and a moderator looks at it within 72 hours. Without the app, email us a link to the photo, or the convention and a description of it.

Something is abusive, unsafe or spam

Every photo, meetup and profile has Report in its menu; for a comment, press and hold it. We review every report within 72 hours. To stop seeing someone altogether, choose Block: neither of you will see the other again, and they are not told.

A convention’s details are wrong or missing

On the convention’s page, Report wrong details opens its entry in the convention database, where you can send the correction with a link that shows it. To add a convention that is not listed, use db.convenux.com/add. Organisers can claim their convention and correct it directly at db.convenux.com/organiser.

Notifications

Choose what you hear about in You → Notifications. Cancellations, moves and changes to a meetup you joined always come through; everything else respects quiet hours at night and a limit of two a day, except on the days of a convention you are attending. Every notification, including the ones you muted, is kept in You → Inbox.

Location

Convenux only uses your approximate location, to show how far conventions are. You can type a city instead, change it in You → Location & distance, or turn location access off in your phone’s settings.

Tickets

Convenux does not sell tickets. Prices and ticket links come from the organiser, and you buy from them; questions about a ticket or a refund go to the organiser.

I can’t sign in

Sign in with the same provider (Apple, Google, Facebook or Discord) you used the first time. Another provider opens the same account only if it confirms the same email address; otherwise it starts a new one. If you used Sign in with Apple and hid your email, your account is tied to that relay address. Still stuck? Email us from the address you signed up with.

My data and my account

You → Privacy → Download my data gives you a copy of everything we hold about you. Delete account on the same screen deletes it for good, and you can ask us without the app too. The details are in the privacy policy.
